Route 66 Raceway

Route 66 Raceway is a drag racing strip in Joliet, Illinois. It opened in 1997 founded by a group of local entrepreneurs, and features a ½ mile dirt oval and a ¼ mile (0.4 km) drag strip. It is now owned by International Speedway Corporation (ISC). The drag strip hosts several events including the NHRA Car Quest Nationals in mid-June. The strip is well-known for its high-speed racing surface that many NHRA records have been set on.
