7:30 PM 11/23/12 - The moon was bright on the Outer Banks, North Carolina. My sister, Andrea, my brother, James, and my sister-in-law, Shauri, walked along to witness the event. They stood on the shore as I started trotting towards the sea. The water was cold, but no colder than the Oregon Coast water ever is. I dove under a wave and decided I'd had enough. :)
