We did the self-guided tour with the optional audio--which you must get. Visited on 6/24/2016. The place is amazing and you could easily spend a couple of days there. Highly recommended.
Me and my siblings in the professionally taken picture in front of the Winter Garden, the first room you see inside the Biltmore. Well done.

Biltmore Estate
Biltmore House is a Châteauesque-styled mansion in Asheville, North Carolina, built by George Washington Vanderbilt II between 1889 and 1895. It is the largest privately-owned home in the United States, at 135,000 square feet (12,500 m) (although publications claim 175,000 square feet) and featuring 250 rooms.
