Tan French Dublin Murders
High rise - book is better
Both the films and the books are very good, but I prefer the books for the wealth of detail they bring.
Despite not really liking Matt Damon, I have to admit I liked the movie more. That said, the movie wasn't perfect. It annoyed me how they kept calling him Mark and not Watney, but compared to the book they streamlined a lot of the problems I had with the book. Weir's book, basically, was like every time he got bored he just cooked up another thing that could go horribly wrong. It made an uneven and WHAT NOW kind of read. This had a clearer arc, though Jessica Chastain was...really not good in this.
Started reading The Martian today: library has a copy of the DVD, which I'll get when I finish the book.
