I explored the Lofthellir Ice Cave in Myvatn, Iceland. It took some effort to slide into/up some parts, using a rope to hoist myself. There are lovely icicles all around, and a great part at the end when the guide turned off all the torches and we turned off our headlights and sat in lovely silence until he used the icicles to make gentle music.

Bosun's chair down Gaping Gill and a wander around the cave there :-) Terrifying journey but well worth it.

This is a cave in the South of Portugal, in the region of the Algarve. There are hundreds of caves just 3 minutes by boat from the coastline.
With Lyndsey, Kyler and Mike Wasson in Alabaster Bat Caverns in Woodward, Oklahoma - 2010 and 2011.
