I've seen them televised plenty, I would like to see them live someday soaking up the atmosphere of the midnight hour amidst the revelers of Auld Lang Syne.
Went down to London with the family to see out 2013 and bring in 2014. We were stood on Lambeth bridge in the end, but I like this picture with Big Ben and the Eye and we almost stopped here. Definitely worth doing once in your life, even if it is cold and a long wait. Really want to get to the Embankment next time but couldn't drag the family out any earlier - 3 hours of waiting was too long for them haha, never mind all day!
Train tickets booked, hotel booked, Lion King tickets booked - operation London NYE 2014 is underway!
Plans are in the making to go and see these, including a cheeky trip to The Lion King on the West End on New Year's Day!
