I wrote a haiku for my friend's birthday:

Today it is your birthday

You're nearly thirty

And I am younger than you.

I think she appreciated the effort I put into it!
Wrote several, including one for Creative Writing.
I have done it now,

finished the haiku writing;

It isn't that good
Momma is Here

Newborn baby cries

Like siren screaming full force

A soft warm breast comes
buryied in pockets

against rambling autumn wind

rubbing cold fingers
Any entity,

Beautiful rain. Stormy days.

Brings laughter to me.
As the weather gets cold
I get cold, and grow bitter
As I lay here dying
