Adopt a cat

I adopted my baby Gomez from the local SPCA. I was still mourning from the death of my previous cat, Molly. We had her put down, because her kidneys were shutting down.

I had picked out the cat I wanted to adopt, but I would have to drive 45 minutes outside of town to pick her up. I wandered into the SPCA, and Gomez was affectionate right from the beginning. I saw he'd been there the longest, and he was the beautiful black cat I wanted.

Bringing him home alleviated a lot of my depression. He gets all the cuddles, affection, and snacks he wants. He pretty much has an entire bedroom to himself, and he's even nice enough to let me sleep here.

This is my adopted cat, a seal point Siamese blue-eyed sweetheart. We have had her for several years. In this pic, she pulled an ornament from the tree so I corrected her, she is now hiding from me.

Came in to the Toronto Humane Society shelter with a fractured forelimb, a cold, an elevated liver enzyme and ear mites.

Fell in love with him the minute I saw him.

He's been with us for 3 months and he is, without a doubt, the cuddliest, biggest, most loving, strongest (physically), funniest, most handsome cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

I love him so much.
