Spare by Prince Harry
I read "Idiot" by Laura Clery
Prince Harry - Spare
Read Beryl Markham's West With The Night for my book club. She had a very fascinating life, unfortunately she chose to spend a lot of time on random childhood anecdotes about family pets or her father's farming business instead of her career and adventures. Still interesting to do something I wouldn't have picked for myself, and one more checked off for my Reading Challenge.
Furiously Happy: A Funny Book About Horrible Things
Devotion by Dani Shapiro
Hands of my Father by Myron Uhlberg
Henry Marsh's Do No Harm. It's a memoir of a neurosurgeon, where he talks pretty openly about the distance doctors try to feel toward their patients; the mistakes they make. It's heartbreaking and angering at the same time, because he does NOT hold back in his indictment of the NHS, which is, seriously, just killing people. I thought I'd learn some fun neuroscience stuff...instead I've got a whole new perspective on health care.
