Chan Chan, located near Trujillo on Peru's northern coast, is the largest adobe city in the world and a remarkable remnant of the ancient Chimú civilization. Visitors can explore the vast archaeological site, which includes the impressive Tschudi Palace, adorned with intricate friezes and expansive courtyards.
