Here's a bad picture of a not-too-bad Chocolate Marquise Cake made from a photo of a page of a cookbook that I flipped to while at the crazy Harvard Bookstore warehouse sale.
Baked Eggs in Ramekins from "Mastering the Art of French Cooking." Added chives, artichoke hearts, and leftover brats. Delicious.

Chocolate Ginger Cookies turned out great. Delicious!
I've been clipping recipes for years - and never making them. So the "cookbook" I selected was the notebook of clippings. I am attempting a chocolate ginger cookie. The dough is chilling in the fridge right now.
I want to use the Joy of Cooking, Julia Child's book, or the equivalent Italian book for this.
