Lamington National Park, located in Queensland's Gold Coast hinterland, spans 230 square kilometers of subtropical rainforest, ancient volcanic peaks, and deep valleys within the McPherson Range. It features over 160 kilometers of walking tracks, including the popular Gold Coast Hinterland Great Walk, alongside waterfalls, lookouts like Echo Point, and diverse ecosystems supporting more than 200 bird species and rare wildlife such as the Albert's lyrebird. Access is via Binna Burra or O'Reilly's retreats, with camping and eco-lodges available for multi-day exploration.
