India Gate
India Gate, located in the heart of New Delhi, is a prominent war memorial dedicated to the 82,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who lost their lives during World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931, this 42-meter-high archway stands as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by these soldiers. The structure is surrounded by lush lawns, making it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike to gather and reflect on its historical significance.
