Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum
The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum is in the city of Nagasaki, Japan. The museum is a remembrance to the explosion of the atomic bomb that devastated Nagasaki at 11:02:35am on 9 August 1945. It is beside the Peace Park that marks the hypocentre of the event. The first atomic bomb museum was built in 1945. The present museum was opened in April 1996 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the bombing.
