Ip Man (2008)

Watched on May 25th, 2022.

This was on my list for 2020, but when I saw that Parasite was playing here I didn't want to wait. It was such a great film.

The Tampa Theater is known to be haunted as well. This is one of my favorite photos I took while there.

Truly one of my favorite theaters. At the beginning of every film an organist rises up from beneath the stage on a platform to perform for spectators, and then the platform lowers back down beneath the stage.

I went to the historic Tampa Theater to watch the movie Parasite. Parasite is a Korean film directed by Bong Joon-ho. The film was subtitled, and had a fantastic twist to it. I highly recommend this film, and I love that I was able to watch it here. The theater was built in 1926. The architect designed the theater to feel as if you were watching a film under the open sky. It is absolutely beautiful.

Watched a dubbed version of The Satellite Girl and Milk Cow (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3897760/) at a local theater. It was really weird.

Watched a Korean drama called Sunny. A 2011 movie about a group of girls and their strong bond as kids in school together and how they are all reunited when they are older as one of them is diagnosed with cancer. I thought it was an alright movie, it had it's funny moments as well as pretty emotional moments.

Detective Dee and The Phantom Flame: A movie about the first Chinese Empress and how she established an old nemesis to find out who and what was killing high officials of the council. Good Chinese movie on Netflix.
