Lost River Cave
Lost River Cave, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, is home to the only cave boat tour in the state of Kentucky. Lost River Cave is owned jointly by Western Kentucky University and Friends of Lost River, a non-profit organization that works towards preservation of the cave. Previously to the Friends of Lost River organization, Lost River Cave was used as a waste dump and tons of trash were hauled out as one of the first preservation efforts. Boat tours typically run at the top of each hour.
