Emas National Park, located in the Brazilian states of Goiás and Mato Grosso do Sul, spans about 1,300 square kilometers of cerrado savanna and protects diverse wildlife including giant anteaters, maned wolves, pampas deer, and over 300 bird species. Established in 1979, it features termite mounds, rocky outcrops, and seasonal wetlands that support its grassland ecosystem, with trails and observation points available for visitors to explore the area's biodiversity.
