Grow my hair out

Still growing! But it's definitely not a buzz cut any more. I think I can mark this one done for now as well.

People are finally noticing my new hair, and it's long enough to style a little bit. My stylist is on maternity leave now so we'll see what it looks like when she gets back in November.

It's definitely not a buzz cut any more! I've gotten to a stage that looks a lot better, but still want to keep growing it. I got my first professional haircut in over 4 years, and I'm about to go in for my second one.

I shaved my hair off in 2020 when everything was closed. I love it, but I'm starting to think about changing it. Growing it out is such a huge obstacle, as well as the fact that I love how easy it is now. I would need a stylist to help me with the process. (I cut my own hair now.) So it's possible I'll chicken out, but this is definitely something I'm thinking about this year.

This was about as long as the hair got, maybe a little longer before I got around to cutting it. It was worth experimenting with... I've never before had hair this long... It was so heavy to put in a ponytail. I doubt it'll ever get this long again.

And I chopped it off again. I let it get as long as I could stand, and then cut it. I wanted to see if I would spend the time to do it, now that I'm an adult and everything. Turns out that no, I will never take the time to style long hair. Part of it is my chosen profession, but a lot of it is laziness. Short hair is MUCH more my style.
