The Rauma Railway runs 114 kilometers through Norway's Romsdalen valley, linking the town of Åndalsnes on the coast to Dombås in the highlands. Completed in 1924, it follows the Rauma River along steep granite walls, past waterfalls like those at Trollveggen cliff and Kylling Bridge, and through 32 tunnels totaling 16 kilometers. Trains operate year-round, offering views of the landscape from narrow ledges and historic stations.
