Visit Parque Nacional Islas de Santa Fe
Parque Nacional Islas de Santa Fe, established in 2016 on Isla Santa Fe in the Río Paraná near Cayastá, Argentina, protects 78 hectares of riverine island ecosystem featuring wetlands, riparian forests, and grasslands. It serves as a key habitat for native species like capibaras, swamp deer, and over 200 bird species, including the vulnerable pampas meadowlark, while supporting conservation efforts against habitat loss from agriculture and development. Access is primarily by boat from nearby towns, with trails for hiking and wildlife observation.
