Not only did I go on a road trip but I drove on the other side of the road for the first time in my life! After meeting my good friend and travel buddy Alyssa in Porto, and spending five days there, we picked up our hire car and I drove us in a sort of zig-zag down through Portugal until we reached Lisbon. I guess driving on the other side of the road doesn't mean anything when you're used to doing it, but for me it was a massive achievement. It felt good to feel proud of myself!
