Completed yesterday, April 12, 2015. It was a 2-day contest put on by CV2 publication. We received a list of 10 words and had two days to write a poem that contained the words. Here's my favourite stanza from my poem called "Split second" (one of the words on the list was "stencil")
Shock can veer the outline of life’s stencil,
Manic winds can shift.
Blank can reverse with the stroke of a pencil,
Hopeless spirits can lift.
