True story - I wound up accidentally pouring a ladle full of boiling jam over my left hand and suffered second degree burns. I had to go to the emergency room and everything, where the emergency nurse proceeded to giggle because not only was I covered in jam, I was also wearing a shirt with strawberry print on it. But, I did do it! I now have five jars with delicious strawberry jam sitting in my pantry (and have my left hand bandaged up)
