Meg and I actually tried two-- a bar and grill that was disappointing (overpriced burgers that showed up overdone, bland sides) and a new brunch place that does nothing but fancy waffles. The brunch place was fantastic. I did a nutella cinnamon pecan and she did a sandwich of two waffles with cheddar, bacon, and fried apples with a maple bourbon sauce. We're excited to try some more of their menu. Very cute sunshiny little place too.

I've been passing by a local place called Nectar for ages now, but finally tried it thanks to this goal. It was super cute and elegant, and I loved the menu-- fresh, healthy international-style wraps. I had a really nice Greek spinach wrap and tried a new IPA by Seven Seas. Will definitely be back and loved trying someplace new.
