I went there before my gradution from high school with classmates and actually saw the pope. It was really fun and the Vatican is amazingly beautiful.

The Holy See refers to the episcopal jurisdiction of the Catholic Church in Rome. The primacy of Rome makes its bishop the worldwide leader of the church, commonly known as the Pope.
