I actually did this one again. I went to a regional restaurant that was severely understaffed (to the point of closing off large portions of seating) and had to sit at the bar. The one woman at the bar never got a chance to stop between serving the people at the bar and making drinks. So I left a 100% tip and got out before she could see.
Mikey(sp?) at Ale House is awesome! Every time I have been there his service is excellent so I was finally able to tip 150%
In Washington DC 9/21/13, visited District Chophouse for lunch. Total was $51.87; tipped him 51.87. Rushed out before he could see. He was an attentive waiter, a great conversationalist and I had a feeling he would appreciate it. This was almost as thrilling as skydiving.... almost.
