The Mountains of the Moon hike is a challenging trek that takes you through the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda. This 8-day adventure will take you through lush rainforests, alpine meadows, and rocky terrain as you ascend to the summit of Margherita Peak, the highest point in the range at 5,109 meters. Along the way, you'll encounter stunning waterfalls, glaciers, and wildlife such as chimpanzees and colobus monkeys.
