Qutab Minar, Seth Sarai, Mehrauli, New Delhi, Delhi 110030, India
Qutub Minar, located in Delhi, India, is a towering minaret built in the early 13th century by Qutb-ud-din Aibak and later completed by his successors. Standing at a height of 73 meters, it is made of red sandstone and marble and is adorned with intricate carvings and verses from the Quran. The structure is a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture and is part of the Qutub Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which also includes other historical monuments. The minar is not only a significant historical landmark but also a testament to the architectural ingenuity of the time.
