“Agatha Christie” by Lucy Worsley
I knew very little about Agatha Christie’s life, other than her well-publicised disappearance in 1926, and found this fascinating. Perhaps the most interesting part was if her archaeological travels to Iraq where she played a huge part not only in assisting her younger second husband Max Mallowan with his work, but also funded many important projects.
The book dragged a little towards the end but was very interesting and has encouraged me to continue reading her books.
