Brihadeeswarar Temple, located in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, is a monumental example of Dravidian architecture and a testament to the grandeur of the Chola dynasty. Constructed in the 11th century under the reign of Raja Raja Chola I, this UNESCO World Heritage site is renowned for its towering vimana, intricately carved sculptures, and the massive Nandi statue. As one of the largest temples in India, it continues to be a significant center for Hindu worship and a remarkable representation of ancient South Indian temple design and craftsmanship.
